Our summer...so far...

WARNING! LONG POST!

We have had a very eventful summer so far and had so much fun spending time together. I have taken so many pictures of all that we have done it is hard to narrow it down and still get the highlights. Here goes...

Hogle Zoo

The girls LOVED the zoo! Sky was sad she didn't get to see the polar bear(he was in his cooling chamber) but still loved seeing all of the animals.

Londyn LOVED the carousel! She laughed the whole time we were on it. 

 and of course the train was fun too!

Strawberry Days

We love Strawberry days! The kids had fun at Huck Finn Days, the Rodeo and the Parade!

Dance Recital

Sky did so good at her dance recital! It was so cute to see her up there.  Of course she was the one doing her own thing for most of the time and making the audience laugh but it was still cute.  One of these days I will have to load the video on here, I don't have the camera here right now. Thanks to all the family that came to watch her, she loved having you all there.  It has been a month since her recital and she still asks if she can go dance on the stage again, she loved it so much!

 Lake Powell

One of my favorite times of the the year! It is so nice to get away and relax.  The girls loved it! Sky was a mermaid all week long and loved the water.  She did so good swimming all by herself and was not afraid of the water at all.  Londyn loved it too though I think the water was a little cold for her liking.

We had a little incident and my Dad, Sky, and Taylee flew off the tube...:( Very scary for the girls but luckily they had grandpa with them.  Sky still loved the water even after being thrown of the tube.

 My parents bought this new little toy, it is supposed to help the kids get the hang of skiing and Sky loved it.  She was crazy out there standing up, trying to turn, waving, blowing kisses...you name it. Not sure where she came from, you would not have seen me out there at her age.

 Londyn did really good on the trip, I was worried about her this year but she did good...she just hung out most of the time.

California

We went on a trip to California to see Cody's Grandma and had lots of fun! 

Disneyland

The first day we were there, Cody and I took the girls to Disneyland.  They loved it and of course had so much fun.

 Story time with Sleeping Beauty...I think this was probably one of Sky's favorite parts of the day.

 Mater at Carsland! (She also got to see lighting mcqueen which she loved, but we weren't fast enough to get a pic) Carsland was so cute! Just like the movie.  This was the other favorite part!

 This was Londyn's method of shading her face.  She figured out that she could hold it up with her feet so she could be shaded...smart girl!

The first two days we stayed with my cousin who lives in Laguna Niguel.  They were so generous to let us stay there and it was so fun to see their family!  Thanks so much Annalee and Steve!

The second day we decided to spend the morning at the beach and we took Annalee's daughter Kendyl with us.  The girls had so much fun, Sky has been asking about Kendyl ever since we got back.  Too bad we don't live closer, they loved playing while we were there.

 That afternoon we drove north a bit to Torrence where his Grandma lives and went swimming for a bit with the family 

That night we went to see Grandma for a little bit.  She does not like pictures so I had to sneak a few.

 The next day we were planning on going to the beach but we had a few hours to kill until his Grandma and Aunt to meet us at the beach so we went swimming for a little bit....

 While we were at the beach Sky started not feeling so well and fell asleep for a few hours and still didn't feel great that night so after dinner we went back to the hotel and hung out.  

On Sunday we went to church with Aunt Pam and Jen and then went to a park and had lunch and let the kids play for a while. 

Then we headed down to San Diego that night.  I figured we might as well take some family pics while we were there;)

Sea World

The girls also loved Sea World! 

We headed home the next day and the drive was not very fun.  Both of the girls were so sick of being in the car.  We stayed the night in St. George and that helped break it up a little.  All in all it was a very fun trip! It was so fun to see family(Marilee and Brads family and grandma)

4th of July

We got home on the 4th so we didn't really have anything planned so we just went over to my parents and watched fireworks. 

The boys talked us into going up on the roof to watch them( I'm not a big fan on the roof;) )

Amy's Birthday

 She LOVES the phone!

We are having so much fun with these two! Londyn has mastered the stairs all by herself, and Sky LOVES her little sister.  Anything that Londyn does she wants to do too.  She is a good big sister!

 She wanted a bottle too! We got rid of Londyn's bottle since I took this pic, YAY for no bottles!
