Last week Aimee and the kids came over so we could take a few pics of McKenna in her blessing dress. Here are a few that we took.

4 Month check up

Our little girl has had a growth spurt! We went in this week for her check up and she is doing really well. She is 13lbs 3 oz(50%) and 23 1/2 inches(50%) She went from being in the 25% to 50% in her weight, gotta love the chubby cheeks! She did really good with her shots too! She only cried a little bit. She is getting so big, I still can't believe how time flys!

New Friends

Happy Birthday Cody!

Today is Cody's Birthday and I just wanted to wish him a Happy Birthday! Me and Sky are so lucky to have him. He is a wonderful husband and an awesome daddy. Thanks for all you do for us babe! We love you!

Last night we had some family over for dinner for his birthday and had a lot of fun.

Oh yeah and I dropped the cake! Thank goodness the cake was an ice cream cake and the candles and pieces of snickers bars caught it so it didn't actually hit the ground. It was good entertainment for everyone, leave up to me to drop the cake! It still tasted good.

Snow Cross

For Christmas the girls in my family gave all of the boys tickets to the snow cross. At first we were just going to send the boys but then we decided that we would all go...it was a little cold but still a lot of fun!



Here are some videos of them doing back flips and stuff(if you like watching that sort of stuff) The first one is pretty short and the flip is at the beginning, the second one is longer but there are some other cool tricks too.

3 Months!

So this post is a few weeks late but I can't believe that Skyler is already 3 months old! She is so much fun right now...She is usually pretty happy during the day. When I am home editing on the computer she just sits in her swing and smiles and coos and it makes it really hard for me to want to work...I could just stare at her all day. Her nights have been a little rough lately... she has had a little cold the last two weeks so she wakes up more. I feel so bad for her...she is so stuffed up, her nose is runny and her eyes water a ton. The last couple of days seem like she is getting a little bit better so hopefully she is almost over it. We both got our cold at the same time and mine hasn't gone away either so hopefully soon!

I took these pictures last week, it was a little bit more difficult than I was hoping but we still got a lot of good ones!

She was tired by this time and just wanted to suck on her arm.

Cabin

Every year my family goes to my grandparents cabin the week after Christmas. This year we spent New Years Eve sleeping over at Cody's Grandparents(which was a lot of fun, thanks for letting us stay over) so we just went up to the cabin for the weekend. We mostly just sat around and hung out. It was very nice to just relax and it is always fun to hang out with family.

Jaxon lost his first tooth while we were there. His dad paid him $20 because he pulled it himself, lucky little boy! He wanted me to take a picture of it. Good job buddy!

Every one knows that our family loves pictures. We get to see each other a lot but unfortunately we don't get very many of all of us together since Jonny and Robyn don't live around here and when they are here someone is working or there is something going on, so we take every chance we get. We almost didn't get this one because we didn't get up there til Friday afternoon and some of the family was getting ready to leave. Thanks guys for waiting for us and thanks Marchy for taking the pictures and putting your ride on hold.

Our Weekend

Where do I begin? The last 4 days have been a whirlwind in our home. I will try my best to update you all.

Christmas Eve

It all began on Christmas Eve where we spent the evening with my family...

After we opened presents we headed to my parents house for breakfast and then back to our house to meet up with Cody's family.

I just realized that I didn't take any pictures while they were here...I did get this one though. Since everyone was in town we thought we would get a picture of everyone. We all just hung out on Friday and then had Christmas morning on Saturday. They spent the night Friday and Saturday and it was fun spending time with them.

The Blessing

On Sunday we Blessed Skyler. It was a crazy day but so great to have all of our wonderful family around. Cody gave a beautiful blessing. He is a wonderful dad, Skyler and I are so lucky to have Cody in our lives. I love him so much and don't know what I would do without him.

The Dress
This dress was made by my mom! It is so beautiful, it turned out exactly how I wanted it to. Thank you so much Mom! You are amazing, I hope I can be as amazing as you someday. The blanket that Skyler is laying on was made by my great Grandma and it was used for all of our blessings.

My Test

So last week, my parents came over to visit. They decided that they were going to do the 12 days of Christmas for all of us this year so they brought these....

Since there are 6 of us and it would be impossible to go to each of our houses every night they brought all 12 and told us not to peek. I told them that I don't peek and Cody didn't believe me...so the next day he did this...

This is my Christmas present sitting on our TV, it is not wrapped and yes there is something in it. It has been there over a week now and I have not touched it. (I know that there is something in it because Brittany could not resist and she peeked)Of course I would love to look but I only have a few more days to go, plus I like being surprised.
